UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Paper-wise Pattern

UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Exam will have a total of 2 papers. Each paper is divided into two sections each, with a total of 4 sections.

  • In UP BEd JEE Paper I, Part A (General Knowledge section) is compulsory for all applicants to attempt as it is, whereas, for Part B (Language section), applicants can choose between Hindi or English languages.
  • In UP BEd JEE Paper II Part A (General Aptitude section) is compulsory, however, in Part B (Subject Ability section), applicants are allowed to select a subject of their choice.
  • All the sections will carry equal weightage in UP B.Ed JEE Exam.
  • There will be a total of 50 questions in each section, in which applicants are awarded 2 marks for each question.

UP B.Ed JEE Section-wise Pattern

UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Section-wise Analysis

  • Applicants should have a fair knowledge of UP B.Ed JEE 2023, before attempting the exam. UP BEd JEE Exam will be concluded in 6 hours in total. The exam will be conducted in 2 shifts Morning and Afternoon.
  • UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Paper I will be taken in the first shift. On the other hand, UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Paper II will be conducted in the afternoon shift.
  • All four sections in UP B.Ed JEE 2023 question paper will contain a total of 200 (MCQs) Multiple Choice Questions.
  • For marking each correct answer to any question from both the papers, candidates will be awarded 2 marks. For every wrong answer, 1/3 mark will be deducted for any section. All sections will carry the same weightage.
  • Both UP B.Ed JEE Paper I and Paper II will contain a total of 100 questions, with Part A and Part B having 50 questions each.

UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Paper I Pattern

  • In UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Paper I Part A, all the questions will be framed from the section of General Knowledge that will contain a range of topics like history, geography, politics, current affairs, sports, etc.
  • In Part B, candidates' language skills will be judged. From the list of the language, applicants are free to select any language either Hindi or English. This part will contain some topics that test the applicant's knowledge of the language.

UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Paper II Pattern

  • In UP B.Ed JEE 2023, Paper-II the questions from Part A will cover the section General Aptitude that includes a wide range of topics such as reasoning and analysis, coding & decoding, puzzle, number system & symbol series, time and distance, interest calculation, profit, and loss, etc. This section tests the applicant's reasoning and quiz skills.
  • And the questions from Part B will analyze the candidate's Subject Ability that will be chosen by the candidate. This section will be based on the syllabus of 11th class or 12th class level and all the topics of any subject will according to the applicant's choice of subject.

UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

In the below section, some important instructions regarding UP B.Ed JEE 2023 are given.

  • Before applying for the exam, Go through the entire eligibility criteria of UP B.Ed JEE 2023 on the official website.
  • Candidates must know that after the final submission of the duly filled application form of UP B.Ed JEE 2023, no correction in the duly submitted application form will be allowed.
  • After the submission of the online application form, no objection against the form will be accepted.
  • For the application process, candidates are not required to send any certificate of their academic or scorecard to the concerned university.
  • Candidates are required to present all the certificates in the original at the time of the counseling process through UP B.Ed JEE 2023.
  • Candidates are advised to keep their original copy of the certificate and the photocopy of the duly submitted online application form. Also, candidates must note down their registration number until the entire admission process is completed.
  • It is mandatory for all the applicants to upload the required documents like the self-attested photograph and the scanned signature during the application process of UP B.Ed JEE 2023. Candidates need to affix the latest colored self photograph with the resolution of 35mm x 45mm and not more than 50 kb in size. Also, the size of the scanned Signature must be less than 20 kb. Moreover, both the scanned documents need to be in jpg/jpeg format.
  • Candidates must carry the admit card of UP B.Ed JEE 2023 on the day of the exam as without the hall ticket or the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall with any piece of paper.
  • Candidates are always required to keep an original ID proof on the day of the exam and during the counselling session for verification purposes.
  • On the day of UP B.Ed JEE 2023, candidates will be restricted to enter the exam hall with any kind of electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, etc. Also, any food or beverage, books, will not be allowed in the examination hall.
  • At the exam center, candidates are required to report at least 15 minutes earlier to start the exam.
  • No candidates will be allowed to leave the exam hall without completion of all the formalities and without the permission of the invigilator after the exam.
  • Candidates having conversations in the exam hall or making noise during the test exam will be strictly avoided.
  • In the exam center, all candidates will get an OMR Sheet for marking the final answer. In UP B.Ed JEE 2023, candidates are required to mark and fill the information with black and blue ink or pen.
  • Always need to keep the OMR Sheet clean. After the completion of the exam, the OMR Sheet must be returned back to the invigilator.
  • Candidates are required to report to the invigilator for printing any incorrect information. In this case, the invigilator will put his/her signature along with the seal mark on it and follow the instruction given by the invigilator.
  • PWD candidates (especially Blind) need to bring someone with them for the writing purpose and the academic qualification of that person must be below the higher secondary standard.
