For PTE academic exam registration follow the step-by-step process for PTE online registration.

Create an Account

In the first step, go to the official website PTE and read the information on the page for more clarity. To start with the application form, click on “Step 1: Create a Web Account” for PTE account registration. Then choose the exam type.

Enter the personal details as in exactly on the passport. You will get to choose the test as you would like to appear for (PTE Academic registration) and in this case, it would be the PTE Academic Exam. Be careful while you enter personal details like name and DOB and more.

Read PTE Policies

The second step would be to read all the policies. It is important to read the PTE policies.

Choose PTE Test Dates

Once signed in, candidates need to click on ‘schedule this exam’ and follow it up by selecting the preferred location and PTE test date from the list. Once the PTE date registration is done, the “Proceed to checkout” option will appear on the screen. This page shows the selected test, date, time, and location for booking the test. Pearson PTE registration allows the candidates to change the selected location and date even at this stage.

In the 3rd step you need to select the PTE Test Centre and test date which is most convenient to you.

Choose PTE Test Centers

Before going ahead with the payment page. The order would have details of the type of examination mentioned, the duration of the exam, the test centre, the appointment date of the examination and the price of the examination along with tax. In case you change your mind, you can reschedule the test date or change the test centre without incurring any additional cost. Once the payment has been made you would have to pay a fee extra for the same changes.

PTE Fees Payment

PTE exam registration fees costs INR 15,900 in India. The basic PTE registration fee is INR 13474.58 along with the additional estimated tax INR 2425.32. 

PTE exam registration fees can be paid via MasterCard, American Express and JCB credit cards, and Visa debit cards. 48 hours after the payment, the confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email ID along with the chosen date, time, and place of the exam. Candidates can take a printout of their acknowledgment receipt. Though they will have constant access to their details in the dashboard.

Plus, there are rescheduling and cancellation fees in case you cross the PTE registration deadline.

• To reschedule the test 7 days prior PTE registration dates candidates are charged 25% of the exam fee
• To reschedule the test within 7 days of PTE candidates have to pay the full registration fee

Additionally, there is a refund policy for canceling the test:

• To cancel the booking 7 days before PTE 50% refund can be given
• To cancel the booking within 7 days has no refund

PTE Slot Booking

On successful registration, candidates would receive confirmation email within 48 hours with their login credentials. Then you are required to select your preferred PTE test center and PTE exam date and go ahead with the PTE exam booking. 

Documents Required for PTE Registration

The required documents are different for different countries. For PTE exam registration India, the candidates must have a passport. Not just that, any mismatch in the spelling of the candidate’s name in the application form and the passport can cancel the entire application. So, the candidates need to be very careful about it.
