To fill NEET PG Application forms, you must fulfill the below-mentioned NEET PG eligibility criteria defined by NBE.
- Nationality: Indian citizens can apply for NEET PG 2023. Foreign Medical Graduates (Indian citizens or OCIs) who have passed the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) can also apply.
- Foreign Nationals: It is mandatory to have a temporary registration from the National Medical Commission (NMC) on payment of a nominal fee.

NEET PG Counselling 2023
NEET PG Counselling is conducted for admission to around 26,188 MD seats, 13,649 MS seats, 1,979 PG Diploma seats, and 1326 DNB CET seats. NEET PG Counselling 2023 will be conducted by MCC for 50% AIQ & 100% Deemed & Central Universities, AFMS, and ESIC seats. For 100% private universities, 85% state quota seats, and minority institutes, NEET PG 2023 counselling will be conducted by the respective state authorities. NEET PG Seat Allotment Result will be released after every round of counselling.
NEET PG 2023 Postponement Plea Dismissed
In its decision, Supreme Court dismissed the petition for NEET PG 2023 postponement. Furthermore, it denied hearing any pleas regarding NEET PG postponement.
- It has been stated that after the extension of the internship date, only 6000 candidates applied. As a result, the demand of postponement is only by a minority of candidates.
- NBE has conveyed to conduct NEET PG Counselling by July 15. The candidates who do not complete internship by then will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The cut-off date for completion of an internship has been extended to August 11, 2023. The demand to postpone NEET PG 2023 was on the grounds that there is a gap of more than 5 months in exam date and completion of the MBBS internship.
