KIITEE 2023 Merit List
Allotment of courses in the University is done on the basis of merit list which is prepared by KIIT University after the results are announced. Merit list will be produced on the basis of marks scored by the candidates participating in the competitive examination.
In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks, inter-se merit of such candidates would be determined in the following manner: -
- B.tech/B.tech and M.tech (dual degree) and B.tech and MBA (Dual Degree) - On the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Physics and then by age preferring the older candidate.
- B.Arch- On the basis of NATA scores.
- B.tech (LE) – On the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Basic Electrical Engineering and then by age preferring the older candidate.
- B.Sc Nursing – On the basis of marks obtained in Biology, then in Chemistry and then by candidates older in age.
- BBA/BCA/Bachelor in design (Textile of Fashion)/Bachelor in Film and Television production/B.A LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc LLB/Integrated Master of Mass Communication- on the basis of marks obtained in Mathematical ability, then in Analytical Ability, then in English and then by age preferring the older candidate.
- Biotechnology (Dual Degree- B.tech/M.tech 5 years) – on the basis of marks obtained in Biology, then in Chemistry and then by age (older candidate will get the preference)
- MCA/MCA (LE) – On the basis of marks obtained in Computer Awareness, then by Mathematics and finally by candidates older in age.
- M.tech- Preference of older candidate
- M.Sc (Applied Microbiology/Biotechnology) – On the basis of marks obtained in Biology, then Chemistry & Mathematics, and then by candidates older in age.
- LLM- Preference to older candidate.
KIITEE 2023 Cutoff
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology prepares the cutoff list and it is released in the first week of August 2023. KIITEE 2023 is announced in the form marks based on which merit ranks are assigned. There are several factors that affect the cutoff score which are mentioned below:

KIITEE 2023 Counseling
KIITEE 2023 is expected to commence from the mid of May or June after the announcement of Merit list. Candidates who manage to score marks above the cutoff score and qualifies will be called for the counseling and seat allotment process.

In case the students are unable to attend the counseling, their parent can attend it. They need to bring along the following documents-
- Authorized Letter of the Candidate
- Identity proof along with a photograph
