CMAT 2022 Question Paper had 5 mandatory sections for the first time. Each section comprised 20 MCQs. The total time given to attempt 100 MCQs was 180 minutes (3 hours). Each question carried 4 marks, i.e. the paper was for a total of 400 marks, and one mark was deducted for every wrong answer..It was essential to attempt the questions strategically as there was a negative marking to the extent of 25%. This section was reported to be the most difficult. Being a new section, the section has no clearly defined syllabus as a result students found it difficult to answer most of the questions. Most of the questions were on business, economics, management, and government schemes
