MVSc Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology: Admission Process

Admission in most of the institutes is based upon the score in the entrance test conducted by the institute . An All India Entrance Exam is conducted by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR).

How to Apply? 

• At first, a candidate needs to apply for the course either online or offline as per institute/university norms.
• Candidates are supposed to fill out the application form of the Entrance Exam with all necessary details and pay the application fee and then appear for the entrance examination.
• If the candidate successfully clears the entrance, he/she has to attend counseling sessions (if any) of the allotted college or university according to the rank list.
• Lastly, if the candidate clears all the above mentioned stages then he/she is offered admission and a preliminary fee is to be paid by the candidate to secure the seat.

MVSc Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology: Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants need to have completed:

• Candidates must have completed Class X and XII with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Completed graduation in B.V.Sc or an equivalent course with a minimum 55% aggregate marks.
• A candidate must have science subjects in Class 10+2.
• Candidates are also required to qualify an institute, state or national-level entrance exam for admission to the course

MVSc Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology: Entrance Exams 

For admission to MVSc in Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology program, Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts a national level entrance exam. It is conducted once a year and has multiple choice question based papers .The duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours.
