BAMS Admission 2023 is done based on the performance of the applicants in a national-level entrance exam. Candidates seeking admission to the BAMS course must qualify for the NEET UG. Top colleges accept NEET scores for BAMS admission; however, several colleges offer direct admission through management quota seats as well. States like Karnataka, Odisha, and Gujarat offer BAMS admission to the respective state-affiliated colleges and universities on the basis of state-level counseling based on the NEET scores of a candidate.

NEET UG is a national-level entrance exam accepted by most of the BAMS college admissions. NEET 2023 registration were open from March 06 till April 06 and was reopened from April 12 – 15, 2023.   • Candidates appearing for the class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for NEET, however, they must provide the final passing certificate at the time of admission to the course.
  • The minimum age limit to seek BAMS Admission 2023 is 17 years as on December 31, 2022.

The most widely accepted entrance exam for BAMS admission is NEET UG. Here are the basic preparation tips for the NEET exam.

  • The maximum weightage in the NEET exam is given to Biology. Students should, therefore, prepare it thoroughly.

Ques. What is the admission procedure for BAMS in PGIMS Rohtak?

Ans. PGIMS Rohtak intakes candidates for BAMS on the basis of CET merit.  The application form for CET is available in June. It can be obtained after a payment of Rs. 2400 (general) and Rs. 600 (ST/SC/Backward). The CET exam is held in July, and results are displayed in the same month. The first counseling session usually held in September.  You must be at least 17 years of age by the end of that year, and must have secured a minimum of 50% (general) and 40% (SC/ST/Backward) in 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology to sit for CET.  The paper is for 3 hours duration and has a total of 180 questions for 180 marks. There is no negative marking. Questions are asked from 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry and Biology.  The application form is available from the Controller of Finance, UHS Rohtak, or any designated branch of HDFC Rohtak, Ambala, Karnal, Gurgaon, and Hisar. Read more
