Established in 2001, PSG College of Pharmacy (PSGCP) is a premiere educational institution imparting quality education in the field of Pharmacy Science. Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, the pharmacy campus is located adjacent to the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences at Peelamedu, Coimbatore (TN).
PSGCP offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level degree programs in Pharmacy Education. PSG College of Pharmacy currently offers Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) courses at the UG level; Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) and Post Baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D. PB) at the PG level; and Ph.D. in Pharmacy at the doctoral level.

PSG College of Pharmacy offers a 4-year B. Pharm program including a 6-Year Pharm. D. program at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the B. Pharm and Pharm. D. programs is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology and Mathematics as electives. Candidates for the B. Pharm program are additionally required to secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the 3 science group subjects (i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics). Selection of candidates is done through DME counselling based on the merit of last qualifying marks.
Aspiring candidates may collect the application form from any Government Medical College within the state. The application fee can be paid only through Demand Draft, which must be produced at the time of obtaining the application form. The complete application form and copies of all relevant documents must be submitted only via post.

Important Points:
At the post-graduate level, PSG College of Pharmacy offers Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm), Pharm. D. PB (Post Baccalaureate) and Ph.D. degree programs to eligible students. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the M. Pharm and Pharm. D. PB programs is a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from an institute or university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
In case of Ph., the students are required to hold a M. Pharm degree with 50% marks in order to be eligible. Selection of candidates for the M. Pharm is done through entrance exam conducted by DME. Ph.D. candidates are selected through an entrance exam (conducted by the institute) followed by a personal interview.
Candidates applying for the M. Pharm program should download a soft copy of the application form from the DME or the State Government’s official website. A hard copy of the application form, duly completed, should be sent to DME, along with copies of all relevant documents and Demand Draft, so as to reach on or before the last date.

If percentile of marks in Biology is X, And Percentile of marks in Physics & Chemistry taken together is Y, Then the aggregate percentile will be (X+Y)/200 multiplied by 100.
PSG College of Pharmacy accepts applications for its government quota seats against B. Pharm, Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. admissions through DME, Tamil Nadu. Candidates are required to appear for counselling conducted by the board for allotment of seats as per merit. The application process in details for government quota seats is as follows:
