Madurai Medical College was founded in 1954 and is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. The college offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma as well as certificate courses.
- Students should have passed HSC (10+2) examination in order to apply for MBBS/ B.Sc./ B.Pharm first year program.
- NEET UG entrance examination scores are valid for admission to MBBS course.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc./Diploma program should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks with English as subject.
- For admission to postgraduate MD/ MS program, candidate must have passed MBBS/ BDS Degree.
- Applicants should have appeared in PIMS AICET-PG in order to apply for MD/ MS course with mandatory internship of one-year.

Madurai Medical College UG Admissions 2023
Madurai Medical College offers admission to the 5-year MBBS Program on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examination as well as a qualifying degree. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the course is 10+2 with PCB as compulsory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

Candidates applying for 2-year Post graduate courses offered by Madurai Medical College must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria to apply for the course which is Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).
To apply for the 3-year M.S. and M.D. courses, candidates must possess a MBBS/BDS Degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
