Columbia Institute of Pharmacy was established in 2003 and is run and managed by Janpragati Education Society, Raipur. It is affiliated with Swami Vivekanand Technical University.
Columbia Institute of Pharmacy offers Bachelors, Masters and Research programs in Pharmacy. All the courses at CIP are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

- For admissions to B.Pharm program, candidates must have passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Admissions will be made through counselling based on entrance exam by DTE- Pre Pharmacy Test (PPHT).
- Candidates applying for the M.Pharm program must have obtained 4-year B.Pharm degree.
- Applicants will be selected on the basis of their scores in GATE.
- Lateral entry admissions will also be carried on in case of B.Pharm program.
- Applicants with M.Pharm degree and a valid GPAT/ GATE/ NET score are eligible for PhD admissions.

CIP Raipur B.Pharm Admissions 2023
With an annual intake of 120 candidates, Columbia Institute of Pharmacy offers four year Bachelors program in Pharmacy (B.Pharm). Applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2 education system) of Chhattisgarh State Education Board or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one among Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology.
Each of the qualifying subjects must be passed individually and aggregate marks should not be less than 45% for the candidates belonging to open category. Relaxation of 5% will be given to candidates of reserved categories. Candidates must be pass in English subject in 10+2.
- Applicants must appear for the state level pharmacy entrance test for admissions- Pre Pharmacy Test.
- Qualifying candidates will then have to appear for Counselling by DTE, Chhattisgarh.
- Candidates who have passed two year Diploma in Pharmacy are eligible for admissions to direct second year of the course (lateral entry).
- They should have secured not less than 45% aggregate marks or 45% marks in final year of the course.
- Lateral entry admissions will be merit based, considering applicant’s scores on the qualifying exam.

- Applicants who have passed in class 12th but have failed on one or more compulsory subjects will be considered ineligible to apply for admissions.
- Additionally, candidates declared pass with grace can apply for admissions but grace marks will not be counted for calculation of merit marks.
- Candidates who have passed class 10th or 12th through distance mode can apply but Diploma must have been obtained through regular mode only.

CIP Raipur M.Pharm Admissions 2023
CIP offers two years post graduate program in Pharmacy with specializations in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. The annual intake for each discipline is 18 students. Applicants must have completed 4 years B.Pharm course and secured at least 55% aggregate marks.
Qualifying marks for reserved category candidates is 50%. Candidates must have appeared for GPAT to be eligible for Counselling by DTE. In case of candidates having similar GPAT scores, priority will be given to the candidate having higher scores in graduation degree.

- Maximum age to apply for unreserved category students is 40 years and 43 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC.

CIP Raipur Ph.D Admissions 2023
Columbia Institute of Pharmacy offers 5 years doctoral level program in Pharmacy for the candidates who have obtained M.Pharm degree. Admissions will be made through entrance test by the university.
Those having a valid score in any of the national level entrance tests- GPAT/ GATE/ NET are exempted from the entrance test. Such candidates will have to directly appear for university level Counselling.
