What is the reservation quota for students during admissions?

The college follows a 5% reservation policy for the differently abled students according to the Govt. norms.

Does the college have a provision for admission of NRI students for the courses?

Yes. The Law College of Dehradun has its gates open for the NRI students as well. Their admission solely depends on merit. A sound knowledge of English is mandatory for getting an admission in the college. Following are the documents, the copies of which are to be submitted by the students to the college:-NRI status certificate of the parent furnished by the Indian Embassy of their specific country.NRI bank account passbook of the NRI parent.Valid Indian Passport of the parent.Qualifying mark sheets.Transfer/Migration Certificate.For PIO (Person of Indian Origin)/ FNS (foreign citizen)/Foreign National Category:-Copy of the applicants passport.A valid student Visa/PIO/OCI card (for citizens of Indian origin).Migration/Transfer Certificate.Proof/Certificate of the English language proficiency of the student.Proof of financial support for the candidate.

How to apply for admission?

The candidates can register for admission to courses both online and offline. The registration fee is to be paid along with the registration form.

Is there any provision for scholarship for students?

Yes. Law College of Dehradun provides merit scholarship to scholarly students of BA LL.B, BBA LL.B, and L.B programs only. The college awards 10% scholarship to the qualifying candidates for the first year only.Also, the college grants a 26% Uttarakhand State Domicile scholarship to students of Uttarakhand State only. 40% seats for their admission are reserved throughout for all the Law programs of the University. The scholar must possess a valid domicile certificate for claiming the scholarship while admission.
