Cooch Behar College offers undergraduate level honors degree programs in the fields of arts, science, commerce and management with various specializations.

• The specializations under BA Honors include Geography, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, History, Pol. Science, Philosophy and Economics.
• B.Sc. Honors program is offered in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics.
• B.Com Honors is offered with specialization in Accountancy. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) is offered under the Management (Hons.) program.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the UG Honors degree programs is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Candidates are further required to score at least 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam. Selection is made on the basis of 10+2 marks and e-Counselling conducted on the institute-level.

Applicants are required to fill the online application form available at the institute website. Cooch Behar College doesn’t accept any other form of application for the time being. The application fee can be paid through online or offline mode as desired. Only challan payment from Allahabad Bank is accepted for offline payment of application fees.

Eligibility Table

• The application fee for Honors subjects is Rs.40+Rs.20 (bank charge).
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories must secure at least 45% aggregate marks and 60% marks in the subject applied for in the last qualifying exam.
• A candidate shall have maximum three consecutive chances to clear each Part of the Under Graduate Examination, but shall have maximum overall seven consecutive chances to clear all Part-I, Part-II and Part-III Examinations taken together.

Cooch Behar College offers undergraduate level degree programs in arts, science, commerce and management disciplines in various subject combinations.

• The subjects under Arts discipline include Geography, Elective English, Sanskrit, Elective Bengali, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, Physical Education, Education, Computer Science and Mathematics.
• For B.Sc. General program, the college offers four subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. Management candidates may choose between Marketing, Finance and Human Resource.
• The B.Com General program is offered in all Commerce subjects.

No other mode of application is accepted by the institute. The application fee can be paid online via net-banking and card payments. Those who wish to pay the fee offline can obtain a bank challan from the nearest Allahabad Bank for the prescribed application fee, the details of which must be furnished after submitting the online application form.
