MIT ID Innovation Program admissions process involves the core program team, the faculty members, industry professionals and programme alumni. The candidates are provided an opportunity to interact with the team and present their credentials, achievements, strengths, motivation and career plan. All the steps are designed methodically by a team of researchers and domain experts ensuring that the process is comprehensive but yet concise.
Note: Apart from this, the institute also offers one month Online Certification Innovation Programs viz, Leading Transformative Innovation Practice, Certificate Course in Social Innovation and Certificate Course in Creative Thinking for Innovation.
Admission to the courses offered by MITID is done through Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the institute jointly with Avantika University, which includes a written test followed by a studio test and personal interview round. The admission process is carried out in two phases :
Phase 1: MITID-DAT (Design Aptitude Test) is conducted at various centres across the country. Based on scores obtained from MITID-DAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for the second phase.
Phase 2: Studio Test and Personal Interview round to be conducted at the MITID campus in Pune. The list of shortlisted candidates for the Second Phase will be announced on the MITID website.
No separate call letters will be sent to the shortlisted candidates. All the candidates intimated for the second phase of the admission process are required to attend the studio tests and interview.
MITID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be held in various cities across the country namely Nagpur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow, Goa, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Bhopal, Chennai, Pune, and Delhi.
