Sri Sankara Dental College Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram Admission 2024: Fees Structure, Courses, Cutoff, NEET UG

Sri Sankara Dental College offers BDS course of four years duration with one year of compulsory internship in 9 specializations and intake of 100 students.

Candidates who have secured minimum 50% marks (40% for the reserved category) in 10+2 examination and have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects from Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent and have also qualified NEET-UG or any State level medical entrance examination conducted by the Government of Kerala are considered eligible to get admission in BDS course. Candidates must also pass English subject at 10+2 level. Candidate with B.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or with Pre- Medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also eligible to apply.

Admission to BDS course is given based on the merit list prepared by evaluating the result of NEET-UG and marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination. It is compulsory for the applicants to obtain at least 50% marks (40% for the reserved category and 45% for PH candidates) in NEET UG to get admission in the course.

Sri Sankara Dental College Varkala offers MDS course of three-year duration in five specializations in its curriculum.

Candidates who have completed BDS Degree course from a Dental College or University recognized by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi and Kerala University Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur and are registered provisionally or permanently with the State Dental Council are eligible to get admission to MDS course.

Admission to MDS program is given on the basis of merit list prepared from the marks obtained in NEET MDS.
