NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024 for admission to BDS at Inderprastha Dental College and Hospital Ghaziabad. NEET MDS 2024 will be held on February 9, 2024, for admission to MDS at Inderprastha Dental College and Hospital Ghaziabad.
Inderprastha Dental College and Hospital was set-up with an aim to provide quality education in the field of dentistry and dental science in the country. IP Dental College offers an undergraduate program in Dental Surgery (BDS) which is of five-year duration. Candidates need to secure at least 50% marks (aggregate) in their 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. Candidates must obtain pass marks in the subjects individually as well. Reserved category candidates need to score at least 40% in 10+2 examinations with the above mentioned as compulsory subjects. Admission to the BDS course take place on the basis of NEET UG scores. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria must appear for NEET UG exam by first registering on the CBSE NEET UG website (yet to be released).
The application forms must be filled online and candidates must pay INR 1400 (INR 750 for reserved category candidates) as examination fee. The admit card must be downloaded and printed from the CBSE NEET UG website and carried on the exam date specified on the website.
CBSE prepares an All-India merit/rank list and shares it with the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for counselling of 15% All India seats.
The college admits students from every part of the country and candidates who qualify for the 15% All-India quota seats are granted admission at IP Dental College based on their merit list rank, college preference and seat availability. IP Dental College also admits NRIs, PIOs and Foreign nationals.
