The Pune-based MIT International School of Broadcasting and Journalism offers a separate hostel facility for both boys and girls and accommodation is given on a first come first serve basis. Per year fee for the hostel is INR 1,65,000 and these hostels are fully equipped with facilities like Recreation Room, mess, medical and transportation facility, centralized solar water heating system and electric geyser, water dispenser and water cooler with RO System, outdoor sports complex and indoor games like carrom, chess and table tennis etc. Along with this, an internet facility and complaint redressal cell is also there and the security of students is ensured through security systems and attendance at the hostel.

The college also offers admission to NRI, PIO, OCI and Foreign national candidates for whom tuition, development and university fees are 1.5 times higher.

A special edition of MIT news is released on occasions like Ganesh Chaturthi.THE ENQUIRER: Through this wonderful program which is launched every 7 days by the Journalism Department of MIT, students learn and gain experience on report writing, feature writing, news editing, gate-keeping and other important components of a real newspaper using a replicated learning environment.DISCOURSES: Discourse is a kind of panel and social platform through which students discuss major events related to politics, sports, culture, health, and business.
