Imperial School of Agri Business (ISAB) has co-founded by GBPUA&T Pantnagar and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus with a vision to encourage and nurture excellence in the field of food and agribusiness management education. ISAB is ranked among top 10 ABM institutions in India and received India Agribusiness Award 2022. It is offering a full-time MBA program in food & agribusiness with 9 areas of specialization along with an executive and specialized program in food and agribusiness. Admissions are based on CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA or ISA’ BEST conducted by the institute. ISAB Admission

Admission to the college is through online mode. Admissions is merit as well as entrance based. Candidates need to qualify the entrance examinations to secure admission.

ISAB Selection Criteria

The selection process is done through 2 rounds which are as follows:

• The first round on the basis of the marks obtained by the students in ISA’ BEST/ CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT exams and in their graduation and 12th and 10th exams.
• The second round is on the basis of the performance of the candidate in paper writing, group discussion and personal interview.

ISAB Placements

ISAB has partnered with Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture for Industry linkages and placement leads. In the academic year 2021-22 with kind support of recruiters, previous batch of 2020-22 received 100% placement in PI Industries, Dehaat, Godrej Agrovet, UPL, Absolute Foods, Swades Foundation, Srinivasa Farms, Farm Gate Technologies, Jio Krishi etc. and 2021-23 batch received 100% summer internship in Adama, DCM Shriram, Dhanuka, Syndenta Foundation, EW Nutrition, Gramophone, Sonalika, Agro Life Science Corporation, Unnati, SuperZop, Kaveri Seeds, IACG, Kalash Seeds, NAFED, Mother Dairy, Swal, Vegrow, Pratishtha Industries, KREPL, Indam Seeds, Ayurvet and ICL Fertilizers.These companies are approached for internships and placements of students. Summer internships are provided to the students of first year at these companies for 3-4 weeks to give them an opportunity to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice. ISAB provided 100% Placement to 2020-22 Batch of MBA-FABM and 100% Summer Internships to 2021-23 Batch of MBA-FABM. 

The average package of a batch remains between 5-6 Lakh per annum. The summer internship is for 6-8 weeks which commences after students complete their first year. This gives students an opportunity to apply learning and knowledge of classroom teaching to the real world. Apart from the regular summer internship program, students are encouraged to complete 4 more virtual internships throughout in their degree program as Spring Internship, Autumn Intrenship, Winter Internship and Industrial Internship for a duration of 30-60 days. ISAB Scholarships 

• Government Scholarships: Students who belong to weaker sections of the society, SC/ST/OBC or minority sections can avail such scholarships which can be accessed through the State Government as per the norms. Scholarships by other central ministries can also be availed.
• FAME Scholarship: The college has created provision to extend financial support covering 100% of tuition fees for two categories: Merit Based Schoalrship and Defence Pride Scholarship
• Merit based Scholarship: ISAB has tie up with financial institutions to help students get collateral free education loan. Students can avail loan covering their course fee and hostel fee which students starts repaying after graduating from the institute from their earnings from the jobs they got during campus placements. After availing the education loan students have to pay the mess charges for each semester only as the education loan covers the academic and hostel accommodation fee as per govt. norms.

ISAB Facilities

• Library: The institute’s library provides access to the best resources available to the students. It is well equipped and the resources are available in the form of CD-ROMs, online databases, books, audios, videos, reference books, magazines, journals, e-journals, etc. The institute provides open access e-resource through internet that no longer confines a student to the library only. The library is well equipped and has a collection of resources in form of books, magazine, national and e-journals, reference books, and e-learning resources.   
• Classrooms: ISAB has ensured the perfect ambiance to facilitate smooth and uninterrupted instruction delivery. The first-rate infrastructure for the ISAB students features well-lit spacious lecture halls built to facilitate lecture delivery and practical training. The user-friendly classroom environment at ISAB makes it possible for the students to concentrate entirely on class proceedings in an environment that is both interactive and un-intimidating. These smart classrooms are equipped with mic system, projector, Wi-Fi and Centralized Air-Conditioning, integrated desktop for seamless learning of students.
• Labs: Well equipped labs are required for all the practical training and research initiatives. The college has various laboratories for each department designed to address the needs of the students and the faculty members. Work stations are available at the Wi-Max equipped Computer Lab for students to use.
• Canteen: The mess facility for the students is situated on the ground floor. Meals are provided several times a day and all hygienic measures are taken. The chefs are really good and take into consideration the health of the students. The menu changes every week to ensure that it does not remain the same. Dining area at ISAB is supplemented with separate hand-washing and drinking area where RO drinking water is provided to the students.
• Auditorium: The college has a well furnished fully air conditioned auditorium. They are equipped with Green rooms, projector system, audio systems etc. It is used to conduct cultural, academic and social events.
• Hostel: The hostel plays an important role in a student's academic and social adjustment to the Institute. The college provides world class amenities in the confines of the hostel. Several options exist for accommodation for students at ISAB. Gym, Laundry, Recreational Room, Basketball, Badminton facilities are also available at the hostel.
• Sports: The college have both indoor and outdoor games facilities. ISAB have indoor games ameneties like Table Tennis, Carom, Billiards and for outdoor games facilities for Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball, Football are available
