- Category-based Scholarships - These scholarships are awarded to meritorious students belonging to different categories.
- Differently Abled: The scholarship applies to the student with a 40% permanent disability of the mentioned categories and with a Unique Disability ID from the Government of India.
- Defence and Paramilitary Quota: This scholarship applies to Serving personnel; ex-servicemen, retired personnel, and deceased personnel or their dependents BSF, CRPF, Indian Navy, Indian Army, Indian Air Force etc.
- Sports International Level: The Sports scholarship applies to the candidate who has participated and won in the international level sports/ games conducted by the competent authority.
- Sports National Level: The scholarship applies to the students who have represented a state in any competition conducted between the last two consecutive calendar years at the national level in Individual/ Teams approved by the Ministry of Sports/ Sports Federation/ AIU.
