Affiliated by the Kerala University of health and science, this Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College has been established in the year of 2002. Situated in Palakkad it is the most famous Ayurveda College in the state of Kerala. It has got accreditation from Central Council of Indian Medicine long back.
Students who want to get admission in the Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, will not get confused about the courses, because it deals with only one course, in only one stream, called medicine.
It certifies all the students with a BAMS degree, who would pass out from the college. Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, one of the finest Ayurveda medicine institutes in Kerala, started with a great motto, to serve the rural people in the surrounding location of the college.
The serene and soothing village Ashram atmosphere creates a meditating ambience inside the college and its hostel area, making the students completely devote their hearts in their sacred duties. Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College offers only one course, which is Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery. The intake capacity of the college is 50 at its best. Annual fees for this UG BAMS course is 1, 99,425, without adding the food and lodging facilities.

Cut-offs
The candidates who want an admission must score at least the qualifying percentile of NEET, for securing their admission further. For UR candidates the criteria is 50th percentile which means 701 to 134 scores. For the OBC/SC/ST and UR-PH the cut off criteria are respectively 40th (133-107) and 45th (133-120).

So far, the record of placement has been quite good. The record shows that several other medical institutions come to the college campus for placing students. The Hostel facilities of the college is quite affordable for the students. They would just have to pay rupees 2500, on monthly basis for lodging and 2000 rupees for food, thus totalling it to be 4500 rupees at the end of every month. Hostels are free and the food items are also delectable and mouth-watering, especially on the weekends. Library, computer lab, cafeteria and medical facilities are also there within the college campus.
