Candidates should have passed with 45% marks in aggregate with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects. For lateral entry candidates, maximum age of 30 years at the date of application and 45% marks in diploma is accepted. However, candidates who have passed B.Sc. should have 45% in aggregate in their graduation with Mathematics as main or subsidiary subjects and pass Class 12th with Mathematics. 3% relaxation for SEBC & OEC, and 5% relaxation for SC/ST
