Inter National Institute of Fashion Design - [INIFD], Nashik

International Institute of Fashion Design & Academy of Interiors is a private institute that was established in 2003. The institute is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Skill Development. INIFD offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Advance Diploma and Diploma courses in the discipline of Interior Design and Fashion Design. Admission to these programs is based on last year's qualifying exam. 

Institute also provides a unique online course named “Learn with Manish Malhotra” and after its successful completion students are granted a certificate accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and signed by Manish Malhotra. College has more than 180 learning centers worldwide, is the only design network associated with London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, FBB, Femina Miss India and collaboration with IIID (Institute of Indian Interior Designers) and LST (London School of Trends). The institute offers national and international exposure to the students along with career assistance. Having a 25 years of legacy in providing quality education, the institute has 10,000 students pursuing different courses at INIFD and has more than 5,00,000 alumini base.

INIFD Value Addition 

INIFD Nashik offers a value addition called “ Career Plus” for its fashion and interior design students to make them industry-ready. The Program includes includes communication skills, job profiling, Google workspace lessons, celebrity designer workshops, guest lectures, makeup and grooming, designing softwares, entrepreneurship, social media marketing, client creation, photography lessons, and an opportunity to participate in Nashik’s biggest Fashion Show Aura.

Students also learn how to create their brand, set up a boutique, work as a fashion merchandiser, visual merchandiser, fashion illustrator, and fashion stylist. In addition, the students also learn store layout planning and textile & surface ornamentation. The Students also get a 2-month learning opportunity at the South Mumbai Centre with Nikhat Neerusha, a costume designer.

• Fashion and Interior Design Labs: To give a kind of ambiance where students can do practical and experiments with the designs, INIFD provides well-resourced labs with the latest machinery and technologies. These labs also consist of the latest and fastest sewing machines. 
• Computer Labs: INIFD has maintained modernized and air-conditioned computer labs to provide students with the latest software they can use to complete their assignments, projects and research work during their course tenure. 
• Digital Classrooms: INIFD has spacious and air-conditioned rooms to facilitate an environment of creative and focused learning and to enhance the interaction between all students and faculty.
• Draping Lab: This facility provides students with the opportunity to learn and practice the art of draping fabric on a dress form or a human body.The draping lab is equipped with specialized equipment, including dress forms, mannequins, scissors, measuring tapes, and various fabrics. The draping lab is an important facility for students as it provides them with hands-on experience in creating garments. Through the draping lab, students can take their design ideas from concept to reality, and refine their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
• Textile Lab: A textile lab with a handloom machine is a valuable facility for fashion design students. It allows them to learn traditional textile production methods, experiment with modern techniques, and create unique designs that cannot be replicated by machine. Students can gain practical experience in textile production, learn about different fibers and fabrics, and experiment with dyeing and printing techniques.
• AV Room: The AV room is a crucial facility for design students, providing access to audiovisual equipment to develop their skills. Students can use projectors, cameras, and audio recording devices to capture and analyze design concepts, create presentations, and produce multimedia projects. Fashion design students can create fashion show videos and trend analyses, while interior design students can produce virtual walkthroughs and presentations. The AV room prepares students for the real-world demands of the design industry, where digital communication is vital.
