Sree Narayana Polytechnic College was founded in 1957. It is located in a 15-acre campus at Kottiyam near Kollam, Kerala in South India. It is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is better known as a technical Institute. SNPTC offers Diploma courses in Engineering for the duration of three years.   • National Service Scheme (NSS): The main aim is developing student’s personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage.
  • National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. Ques. Can I apply to the SNPT College under Sports Quota?

Ans. Yes. The candidates who are seeking admission under sports quota must submit the online application through the ‘SPORTS QUOTA’ link. The candidates shall take the printout and submit the application with relevant documents. The selected candidates will be called for an interview and those who attend the interview are only eligible to get Sports Quota.

Ques. Are Help Desks free of cost at SNPTC?

Ans. Help Desks are for those who don’t have access to Internet facility and they are established in all Polytechnic College. The students can avail this facility which is absolutely free of cost. The process reduces the chances of error as sufficient staff are deputed to help the candidates. It is mandatory to take all the required documents.

Ans. The application fee is INR 150/- for general candidates and Rs. 75/- for Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe candidates. It should be submitted along the application form.

Ques. What is the procedure of selection of candidates in SNPTC?

Ans. The candidates are selected based on the grading in SSLC/ THSLC or any equivalent examination. The marks are converted into a 9 point absolute scale such as if the student scores more than 90%, he/she will be graded as A+ and will be considered as a 9 pointer.
