Sree Narayana Polytechnic College was founded in 1957. It is located in a 15-acre campus at Kottiyam near Kollam, Kerala in South India. It is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and is better known as a technical Institute. SNPTC offers Diploma courses in Engineering for the duration of three years. - National Service Scheme (NSS): The main aim is developing student’s personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage.
- National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. Cadets from Sree Narayana Polytechnic College are highly recruited for Republic Day Parade etc.
