National Institute of Rural development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) was established in 1958. This autonomous organization is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Besides the main campus in Hyderabad, this institution also has a North East regional centre at Guwahati, Assam. It runs under the Union Ministry of Rural development. It is recognised as a 'Centre of excellence in Rural development' nationally and internationally and also as ' Centre of excellence in HRD research and Training' by the UN-ESCAP in particular. The admission into the flagship 2-year PGDM-RM program is based on national-level exams like CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA, followed by a Group Discussion and the Personal Interview. The PGDRDM program shortists the candidates based on the graduation marks and the further selection process is same as PGDM-RM.

What are the qualifications required to get admission into NIRDPR?

To get admission into any of the PGDM program at NIRDPR Hyderabad, the candidates should have a bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks and minimum 45% for ST/ SC/ PwD category candidates.

What is the application fee for NIRDPR?

The application fee for the regular PGDM program is INR 400 for GEN/ OBC/ EWS and INR 200 for ST/ SC/ OBC. The application fee for distance mode PGDM is INR 500 for GEN/ OBC/ EWS and INR 300 for ST/ SC/ OBC.

What is the cost of studying at NIRDPR?

The cost of the regular PGDM program at NIRDPR includes the course fee of INR 2,20,500 per annum, Boarding and Lodging fees of iNR 1,11,000 per annum and aCaution deposit of INR 10,000. While accepting the admission offer, the candidates will have to pay INR 20,000, which will be adjuested in the trimesters.
