Since its inception in 1999, DRIEMS, a group of institutions located in Tangi Cuttack district of Odisha, India has been awarded with NAAC's 'A' grade (under UGC). In addition, it has ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Quality Control Program as well as IAO certified international certification. All programs are approved by All India Technical Education Council (AICTE) and are affiliated with Biju Patnaik Technology University (BPUT).

DRIEMS offers admission in a number of courses at UG and PG levels in fields of Engineering, Business Administration, Polytechnic, Nursing, +2 Science, Hotel Management, Industrial Training and Fashion Designing.
10+2 qualified students are eligible to apply for undergraduate courses and graduates in relevant fields can apply for post graduate courses in fields of Engineering, Business Administration, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Hotel Management and Nursing.
Admission to B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA is done on the basis of National / State level entrance while admission in all other courses is done on merit basis.

DRIEMS invites application for admission to the B.Tech course under 6 specializations. 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission to the course. Admission will be based on the marks secured in the JEE Mains or OJEE.

Selection Criteria

The admission is based solely on the JEE Main/ OJEE score.
20% of total intake seats are open to applicants for lateral entry into the 3rd semester and duration for the B.Tech lateral is 3 years.
5% marks relaxation will be considered for eligibility of the SC/ ST candidates.
The fee structure of B.Tech program is divided into two: Course fees INR 78000 + Others / Year and Hostel fees INR 50,000/ Year.

Candidates have to apply for JEE Main or OJEE by accessing the official website
Register for Online Application Form and note down system generated Application Number.
Complete the Application Form.

DRIEMS UG Admission 2023

BCA / BBA is offered under DRIEMS School of Professional Studies. The Institute has received necessary Recognition and Affiliation from the Government of Orissa and Utkal University to run this Programme. For Nursing B.Sc / M.Sc / GNM / ANM is offered under DRIEMS School and college of Nursing affiliated with Utkal university and approved by Indian Nursing Council & Odisha Nurses and Midwives council. DRIEMS School of Fashion Designing was established in the year 2019 and recognized by the Govt. Of Odisha.

Eligibility

Students who wish to seek admission to MBA programs are required to have a graduate degree. The minimum percentage requirement is 50% (45% for reserved category students).

DRIEMS Scholarships 2023

Scholarships are offered for undergraduate and postgraduate programs on merit basis.

The scholarship can be availed on e-governance portal Prerana 2.0 by Govt. Of Odisha. There are four schemes available under Prerana Post Matric Scholarship for ST and SC development, Minorities and Backward classes welfare development.

Scholarships under Medhabruti scheme can be availed on e-governance portal Medhabruti by Govt. Of Odisha for meritorious students of Odisha who’s parental income does not exceed INR 6 Lakh to meet a part of their educational expenses pursuing undergraduate and post graduate courses and technical & professional courses in colleges and institutes inside and outside Odisha.

To apply for a scholarship candidate must fill an online application on the e-governance portal.

Note: If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statements, his/ her scholarship will be canceled forthwith and the amount of scholarship paid, if any, will be recovered. The student concerned will be blacklisted and debarred for scholarship in any scheme forever.
