If a student withdraws before or after the start of the course and the seat vacated by the student is filled by the institution, part of the fee will be refunded as per Management Rules. However, in case the seat remains vacant and is not filled by the last date of admission, the student will not be entitled to get any refund from the institution and will be obliged to pay the full fee for the entire tenure of the course.

By the completion of 1st year, IBI starts with a summer internship program for the students.Before starting with Internships, the students get trained rigorously by conducting mock interviews, panel interviews, group discussions, role-plays, presentations so that they can crack the internship interviews. The institute invites big brands for summer internships as well like HUL, P&G, Khimji Ramdas, Bajaj Capital, Amul, Mitsubishi Electric Pvt Ltd, Virgo Laminates, Chayoos, WhiteHat Jr, UpGrad, etc.Many of the students get PPO from the industries during their internship tenure, which boosts the morale of thestudents to perform to their level best.Summer Internship starts in May and lasts till June or July based on company requirements. During their internships students are required to prepare daily reports of tasks performed and learning outcomes, the entire report is duly submitted to the college guide and company mentor for which the student is critically evaluated on several parameters. A presentation and dissertation viva is conducted after the summer internship, and it has to be submitted by the student to prospective panel members of that specific domain in which the student has completed his/her internship.

This attainment is considered as pre-qualification for stage - II selection procedure of I Business Institute. All candidates clearing the pre- qualifying test are also required to go through IBIs Admission Selection Process. The final selection of the student is declared on the basis of the Composite Marking Scheme.
