The Mannam Ayurveda Cooperative Medical College is located and was founded in 2005. It is owned, funded and run by the Mannam Sugar Mills Co-operative Ltd. as a self-financed college.
The university offers a bachelor's degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Admissions to both of the courses are provided based on performance in the respective entrance examination.

| Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) | Duration- 5 years Eligibility- Applicants should have passed a Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala or an equivalent examination after 12 years of study by any State Board or equivalent authorities of foreign countries recognised as Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur In the optional subjects, candidates should have secured an aggregate minimum of fifty per cent marks. In the case of biology, physics, chemistry and biology are subject to a minimum of 50 per cent marks, in essence. |

Admissions to BAMS are based on NEET examinations.
Admissions to Doctor of Medicine course is based on AIAPGNET exam.
How to Apply?
To avoid any discrepancies before/during the admission process, candidates must follow the instructions mentioned below:
- The original documents, i.e., the qualifying examination mark sheet and the matriculation examination certificate, will be returned to the candidates immediately after verification and the certified photocopy of the document will be kept on file by the university.
- At the time of admission, the candidate selected for admission must pay the required fees.
- By means of an application proposal (for the benefit of the Co-Operational Medical College of Mannam Ayurveda - MACOMC), net banks and cash fees the applicant may pay the costs.
- On the reverse side of the Demand Draft, the candidate must write down his/her name, admission form number and the name of the course he has applied for.
- Applicants are advised to keep a photocopy of the draught request for their own records.
