About GCOPA
Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati (GCOPA), established in 1996, being a private college, affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, stands among the reputed colleges of pharmacy in Amravati, Maharashtra. GCPA provides UG, PG and Doctorate Courses in Pharmacy such as B. Pharm.,M.Pharm., Pharm.D. and Ph.D. Course. The Institute introduced Post-Graduate Courses in Pharmacy with specializations in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry in 2004 and Quality Assurance in 2011. With the changes in need of clinical practices, The Institute introduced Doctor of Pharmacy in 2011.

GCOPA Admission Guidelines
Selection Criteria:
Admissions to all the programs in GCPA are done on the basis of Merit in Entrance Tests for which the Exams are as follows:
- B. Pharm.: MHT-CET
- M. Pharm.: GPAT, NIPER, APPGECET
- Pharm. D.:MHT-CET
- Ph.D.: Ph.D. Entrance Test
Candidates declared eligible by competent authority have to apply online for centralized Admission process confuted by DYE through its official website.
How to Apply?
Candidates can apply for the desired courses through online application facility. In order to apply, candidates should follow these steps:
- Applicants should go to the official website of GCPA and click on the online admission button before the last date of online submission of form.
- The candidate should fill all the necessary details asked in the procedure carefully.
- Then, he/she must choose the desired course and then attach a passport size photograph and other asked documents.

- Solar Passive Architecture:Passive solar architecture of the Institute enables cooling of building spaces. It maintains the internal temperature 5°C less than the outer temperature. It minimises the use of Electricity and keeps the Institute cool.
