Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing, Balongi (Mohali) was established in 1998. It is run by the Management of Educational Society for Health Activities (ESHA) under the dynamic Chairman of Mr. Charanjit Singh Walia, an enlightened soul dedicated to the cause of education. This college is affiliated and approved by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot Punjab and Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh and Indian Nursing Council, Delhi respectively. It is the only institute in the world where in addition to imparting modern Nursing Education. It adheres to international quality standards and is ISO 9001-2008 Certified.

Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing Course Structure:

It offers multiple course of UG and PG in Nursing stream like B.Sc (Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing), General Nursing Midwifery, Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery, M.Sc (Nursing), M.Sc Nursing in Obstetrical & Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health (Psychiatric) Nursing and Child Health (Pediatric) Nursing.

Eligibility:

1. For Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery/ General Nursing Midwifery:

• Minimum Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2 (any stream) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (Relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates).
• Age: Age for admission shall be 17-35 years by 31^st December of current Year.

2. B.Sc (Nursing)

• Minimum Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2 (medical stream) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.

• Age: Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years by 31^st December of the current year.

3. Post basic B.Sc (Nursing):

• Minimum Qualification: Candidate should have passed GNM with 10+2 (medical stream) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
• Age: No Age-Limit.

4. M.Sc Nursing:

• Minimum Qualification: Candidate should have Sc. Nursing (Basic)/Post Basic with 1year Experience or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
• Age: No Age-Limit.
