How to reach the campus?

The address of the campus is SM College, Gandhi Road, Chandausi, Distt-Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. There is no regular trains to Chandausi from other major cities of the country. The nearest Railway station is at Moradabad which is located at a distance of 44kms. Chandausi is not well connected to other major cities of the country via regular flights. The nearest airport is in Pantnagar at a distance of 94kms.

Is there any rule for attendance?

According to the university rules, 75 percent attendance in each subject is mandatory to get the right of admission to the examination. Lectures and experimental classes will be considered different subjects for attendance. Ignorance of lack of attendance or progress on the part of the student or his / her guardian will not be valid if the student is prevented from appearing in any examination.

Is there any hostel facility available?

No, there is no hostel facility available and the students have to make their own living arrangements.

Is there any banking services on campus?

NO, the campus does not have any banks or banking facilities. Students/ Faculty have to go to the nearest bank branch for banking facilities.

Ques: Can students outside Uttar Pradesh take admission to the college?

Ans: Yes, outstation students can apply for courses at the S.M college however only 5% reservation is maintained for such students and they are considered under general category.

Ans: Many of the former students are holding positions like ICS, IFS, IES, IMS, IAS, PCS, Ministers, MPs and Members of Legislature, and other special posts. In the education world too, the former students of S.M College are working as principals, vice-presidents, and professors in various colleges and are in the vanguard for the advancement of education. At the same time, many former students are also high-quality businessmen in various fields.

Ans: For admission to B.Ed, candidates have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as well as clear the entrance exam namely UP B.Ed JEE.

Ans: The College conducts admission process tentatively in the month of July

Ans: The College organizes regular competitions like inter-college quiz, debates, singing, dancing, sports, elocution, essay, along with various fests which help students learn new things while interacting with each other. The college also organizes exhibitions wherein students can explore their talents along with their classmates.
