Mirza Ghalib College - [MGC], Gaya

Mirza Ghalib College Gaya was established in the year of 1969 to promote higher education among the Minority Communities in Gaya city of Bihar. The college is recognized by the state government.

MGC Gaya offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The college has also added vocational courses such as Bachelor of Biotechnology, Bachelor of Computer Applications and Bachelor of Business Management. 

Admissions to graduation and post-graduation courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC and physically handicapped students according to the state government guidelines. 

The college also has its own placement cell responsible for placement drives and internships. Companies like Samsung, Videocon and E&Y visit the campus regularly for recruiting students.

• Undergraduate courses- B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBM and Biotech Part 1 for session 2021-2024
• Postgraduate courses- M.A, M.Sc for 2021-2023 session

Registrations have already started for these courses. Students can fill the registration form either from the official website or obtain the registration form from the college. 

Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya offers admission to graduate and post-graduate courses on the basis of marks secured in the last qualifying exam. As such, there is no entrance exam being conducted by the college to get admission.
