R.D National College offers 3-year aided courses such as B.Com, BA and B.Sc with an intake capacity of 120, 240 and 360 seats respectively. In addition to it, the college also offers BMM and BMS as self-financed courses. The basic eligibility criterion for admission in BA is 40% marks in 10+2 in any stream from a government recognized institute. Students seeking admission to B.Com must have passed 10+2 pass in Science or commerce streams whereas in case of B.Sc. courses, the applicants must qualify 10+2 in Science stream. Admission to all the UG courses is done on the basis of merit.

Key Points:

• Students applying for B.Sc. courses must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level.   
• For Lateral Entry B.Sc. Computer Science, the candidate needs to have passed post-HSC-Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science and allied branches.
• Candidates who hold Diploma in Administration Services are eligible to apply for the BMS and B.Com in Banking and Insurance.
• Students with Diploma in any engineering branches with 2/3/4 years duration after 10+2 conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or equivalent are eligible for BMS.
• For BMM courses, 50% seats are reserved for Arts students and 25% each for Science and Commerce.
• For BMS courses, 45%, 25%, and 5% seats are reserved for Commerce, Science and Arts stream respectively.

At the PG level, R.D National College offers M.Sc. and MA of 2 years duration. M.Sc. is offered in 3 disciplines with 10 seats in each stream whereas 60 seats are alloted for M.Com in Accountancy and Management. The basic eligibility criterion to apply for M.Sc and MA is a B.Sc and BA degree in the respective discipline. Admission to all the PG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination followed by counselling.

Key Points:

• In the M.Sc. courses, 7 out of 10 seats are filled through University Centralized admission process and the other three students are selected from the college on the basis of merit only.
• For admissions to M.Sc. programs, the Marks/CGPA of the candidate will be taken into consideration (in case marks of two students are equal) in the relevant UG course.

R.D. National College, Mumbai PG Cutoff 2021 (Released)

R.D National College offers Ph.D. in 3 disciplines of sciences. The minimum eligibility to apply for Ph.D. courses is to have 55% marks in Master’s degree in the respective field for which the candidate is applying. For admission to Ph.D course, candidates should have qualified PET conducted by the University of Mumbai.

Key Points:

• Candidates who have qualified GATE/SET/NET/JRF are not required to sit for PET.
• Candidates who have teacher fellowships of CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT are also exempted from PET.
