IHM Rohtak Admission 2024: BHM, Diploma, Fees, Eligibility, Registration Process

SIHM offers a Full-Time undergraduate B.Sc degree course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration in association with the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Reservation of seats for the B.Sc program is as per the norms of NCHMCT. Read on for more information-

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification for admission in B.Sc program is that the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject.
• The upper age limit of candidates of General and OBC category is 25 years and for ST and SC is 28 years.
• Candidates must produce a valid physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the cut-off marks obtained in NCHMCT JEE entrance exam.
• Candidates will have to undergo a Personal Interview conducted by the institute to determine the interactive ability and general awareness of the candidate.
• Interview and Entrance exam marks will be combined to finalize the selection list.

How to apply for B.Sc program?

Documents required

• Attested copies of class 10th certificate and class 12th marksheet.
• Medical/Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
• Valid JEE Score Card.
• Attested Matriculation Certificate
• Colour Passport size photograph of the candidate.
• Secondary Education Board Certificate or Pre-University Certificate for Age Proof.
• Category Certificate.

Application process:

• Register for NCHMCT JEE exam for B.Sc on the official website www.nchmct.org
• Enter the personal, academic details and upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph and Signature.
• Pay the application fee through Debit card/Credit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM by following the online instructions.
• After successful payment, print the Confirmation Page and keep it for future reference.
• Candidates can download the Admission Application form from the official institute website.
• Send the duly filled application form to Principal of the institute along with a fee of INR 400 through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Principal, State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak payable at Rohtak.”

A 1 ½ year Diploma course across 3 specializations is offered based on institute guidelines. Requirements for which have been given below:

Specializations-

• Bakery & Confectionery - 30 Seats
• Food Production - 40 Seats
• Food & Beverage Service - 40 Seats

• Candidates can also download the admission brochure and Application form from the official institute website.
• Send the duly filled application form to Principal of the institute along with a fee of INR 400 through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Principal, State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak payable at Rohtak.”
