Murshidabad Medical College is a government-run medical college and hospital located in Berhampore, Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Established in 2012, the college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Medical Council of India and State Medical Faculty of West Bengal.
At present, the college offers undergraduate, paramedical, along with Nursing GNM Courses. There is a total of 100 seats available under the MBBS course. In addition to it, the institute offers Diploma courses in several specializations including Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT Tech), Radiography (Diagnostic) (DRD Tech), Optometry with Ophthalmic Technique (D.OPT.). Murshidabad Medical College also offers nursing training with a capacity of training 60 freshers for the GNM course.
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 in science stream from a recognized board.
- English is a mandatory subject along with a minimum of 45% marks at 10+2 level.
- In case of MBBS, the students should be between 17-35 years of age.

Murshidabad Medical College & Hospital MBBS Admissions 2023
At the undergraduate level, Murshidabad Medical College & Hospital offers MBBS with an intake capacity of 100 seats. Paramedical course offered by the institute include Diploma subjects such as Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT Tech) with 25 seats, Radiography (Diagnostic) (DRD Tech) with 10 seats, Optometry with Ophthalmic Technique (D.OPT.) with 4 seats, Critical Care Technology (DCCT) with 15 seats, Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) with 15 seats, and Electrocardiographic Technique (ECG Tech) with 6 seats. In addition to it, the college also offers nursing training with 60 seats for the GNM course.
Candidates applying for MBBS, paramedical or nursing training should have passed 10+2 in Science stream with 50% marks from any recognized board with English as a mandatory subject. However, the admission will be based on the marks scored by the candidate in the relevant entrance examination.

Murshidabad Medical College & Hospital Application Process 2023
For SMFWBEE:
- Application for the SMFWBEE can be submitted online through the official web portal.
- Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload recent photograph and signature.
- Candidates should also submit the application fee of INR 500 through Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card or in cash using State Bank of India e-challan.
- Upon successful completion of all the above steps, a candidate shall automatically be directed to the option for downloading and printing of the ‘Confirmation Page’ for future correspondence.
For NEET-UG:
Step 1: Candidates should register on NEET website in order to access the application form. They will receive ID and password on the registered ID or Mobile No. for future log ins.
Step 2: Candidates will be required to fill the details viz. personal details, Choice of Examination Centre, Academic Details and Address and Details of Parents.
Step 3: Upon filling the above-mentioned details, candidate should upload passport sized Photograph, Signature, and Left Hand Thumb Impression.
Step 4: Finally, candidates are required to remit the fee via Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or E-Wallets of different service providers or through challan.
