Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University is one of the premier universities in the country started in 1964 and is located in Pune. It became a university in 1996. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate levels which cover a variety of disciplines. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Distance Education (SDE) aims to promote self-learning and provide academic opportunities to those who were unable to pursue their education at full-time courses. It is one of the most prominent such institutions in the state of Maharashtra.

The University offers BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA at the undergraduate level. The admission is granted on the basis of merit on a first come first served basis. Eligibility for BA, BCA & BBA is at the 10+2 level from any recognized board in the country, i.e CBSE/ ISC/ State Board or the equivalent.

Key Points: Candidates who are provisionally selected for admission must prove their eligibility by submitting all required documents for verification. Only once this has been verified, and the admission fee submitted, will the admission process be considered to be completed.
The University offers Diploma in law. It offers 6 different specializations which are: Diploma in Taxation Laws, Human Rights, Cyber Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Laws & Labour Laws and Welfare. The eligibility criteria of all these diploma courses same that Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university.
