How good is Ashoka Business School Hyderabad compared to IBS Hyderabad for an MBA?
First of all IBS Hyderabad is not a recognized college. Back in 2007-2009 students went against the college’s false promises and threw stones to protest. The college was in full bloom till 2006. But ever since then the quality of education and its brand value has been deteriorating. Some major reasons for its decline in value are
- Massive intake i.e., an increase in the batch size has affected the quality of education proportionally.
- The high fees have made ISB a money-making Institute rather than an educational institution.
It’s because of such reasons that it has lost its original reputation and is famous for all the wrong reasons. So I don’t think it’s very wise to risk your career by making such a choice.

Ashoka School of Business Admission
Eligibility Criteria: Students who have already graduated and students who are in their final year of graduation can apply. We encourage students from all streams to apply. The candidates should have a minimum of 50% in their graduation. Candidates with work experience can also apply.
Candidates are selected on the basis of their academic record and personal interview. All the eligible candidates shall be required to attend the personal interview before an admission decision can be made. Interviews shall be conducted in all major cities. Admission decisions and scholarships shall be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
