Yenepoya Medical College (YMC) is a constituent college of the prestigious Yenepoya University located in Mangalore, Karnataka. It was established in 1999 by the Yenepoya group. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to Yenepoya University Mangalore.
Yenepoya Medical College offers a horde of medical courses at different levels of education. The courses that are currently being offered include MBBS (for UG) and MD/ MS (for PG) in various medical disciplines. Additionally, it offers B.Sc. courses is 9 medical disciplines, along with certificate and post diploma courses in medical sciences. As many as 150 students are admitted every year to the MBBS program.

Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore offers MBBS degree program at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the course is a pass in 10+2/ equivalent exam in science stream. Candidates are further required to have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together.
Selection of candidates is done on the basis of their NEET score. Candidates applying for the MBBS program must register through KEA website after qualifying NEET (UG). Only those candidates who have qualified NEET are eligible to apply for KEA counselling for UG medical.

It additionally offers a super specialty program (M.Ch.) in Urology. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a MBBS degree from a recognized institute/ university.
Candidates must score a minimum of 50 percentile marks during graduation. Selection of candidates is done through KEA counselling on the basis of PGET score. Aspiring candidates may apply and appear for PGET conducted by KEA and attend its respective counselling.
The application process, as well as fee payment, is through online mode. Candidates who have been selected for admission must submit an affidavit/ bond consenting to serve two years post-graduation as a medical officer/ physician in medically underserved areas.
