Bachelor of Physical Education [B.P.Ed] From Shri K. G. Nadgir College of Physical Education, Dharwad

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:

1.Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and having at least participation in the  Inter-Collegiate / Inter-Zonal/ District / School Competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the University / Govt. of Karnataka / Govt. of  India/ State Govt. / SGFI.
OR
2.Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.
OR
3. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied  Physical Education as Compulsory/ Elective / Optional Subject.

OR
4.Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in Internal  National/ Inter-University/ State Competitions or Secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd Position in sports and Games recognized by respective federation / AFU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India.

OR
5.Graduation with  45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience  ( for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained Physical Education teachers/ coaches / Physical Education  Personals.
OR
6.
Graduate with at least 45% marks, possessing N.C.C. ‘C’ certificate or passed basic course in adventure sports, a one-year training program in sports science, sports management, sports coaching, yoga, Olympic education, sports journalism, certificate/diploma course in physical education.

The relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and the reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC and other Categories shall be as per the rules of the central Government) State Government whichever is applicable.
