Guwahati College of Architecture and Planning, or GCAP, was founded in 2006 by Dona Foundation. The college offers three courses in architecture and interior designing namely, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Planning (Urban and regional planning), and Bachelor in Interior Designing. The college has been ranked 2nd in the eastern region with an All India Rank of 21. GCAP ranked 22nd in Top Architecture Colleges in India by Times of India, 2020.
Candidates can apply for any of the three courses by applying to the principal of the given college in a prescribed form which can be downloaded from their official website. Admissions to the courses will be provided solely based on merit and entrance examinations.

Admissions are strictly based on NATA and JEE exam scores as well as merit obtained.
Eligible candidates can apply to the principal, GCAP by downloading the form from the website, before the last date of application.
The merit list will be prepared 15 days after the last date of the application.
In case any seat from the reserved category remains vacant, it will be given to students from the unreserved category.
