Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design was established in 1980 in Vadodara by Parisar Trust. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture and Interior Design. In 1984, the institute was shifted to Vallabh Vidyasagar. APIED has received affiliation from Sardar Patel University. All the courses are offered under three different schools- D C Patel School of Architecture, Dr. HM Patel School of Interior Design and Bhaikaka Centre for Human Settlements.

Applications for all the courses will be filled online and submitted offline.
For UG courses, Diploma holders or candidates who have passed HSC Examinations are eligible to apply.
Admissions to B.Arch will be based on candidate’s score in NATA and for BID, the university conducts SIDET.
Graduation degree holders in concerned disciplines can apply for MID and M.Plan courses.
For MID, candidates will be admitted through Interviews and for M.Plan, a valid score in PET conducted by the university is compulsory.

APIED B.Arch and BID Admission 2023

APIED offers 5-year undergraduate course in Architecture for candidates who have passed class 12^th with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects. Admissions will be through All India level architecture entrance test - National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) followed by counseling at university level.

Apart from B.Arch, the college also offers four years Bachelor’s program in Interior Design for which the university conducts and entrance test- School of Interior Design Entrance Test (SIDET).

APIED PG Admission MID and M.Plan 2023

At postgraduate level, the college offers two-year full-time Master’s courses in Interior Design and Planning. For MID candidates who hold Bachelor’s in Architecture or Interior Design are eligible to apply. Applicants having Diploma in Architecture, equivalent to graduation can also apply and will be admitted through Personal Interviews conducted at university level.

Applicants who have obtained Bachelor’s in Architecture, Planning/ Engineering/ or Master’s in Geography/ sociology/ Economics can apply for M.Plan. Admissions will be based on candidate’s scores in university level entrance test- Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET).

Key Points:

Final merit list will be prepared considering 50% marks in entrance exam and 50% marks in qualifying degree examination.
M.Plan is recognized by Institute of Town Planning, India ITPI, New Delhi.

For Post Graduate Courses:

Visit SP University portal.
Click on Centralized PG Admissions 2021 Online Application Form link.
Enter a valid mobile number and Email ID.
Proceed to fill personal details and upload a scanned copy of passport size photograph.
Click on Save & Proceed button. An application number will be generated.
Proceed to pay the application fee through Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit cards.
Take the print of the finally filled in form and send it to the university along with photocopies of the following documents:
- Class 12^th mark sheet
- Graduation mark sheet
- Graduation certificate
- Caste certificate
- Non Creamy Layer certificate

Take the print of the form and fill the mandatory details.
Send the filled in application form along with application fee and documents to the institute.
Application fee for BID is INR 1000.
Fee has to be paid in form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Institute of Environmental Design’ payable at Vallabh Vidyanagar.
