The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained in two different ways, here’s how:
Candidates are advised to go through Periyar University PG Admission Prospectus prior to filling up their application forms. It is also advised to try filling up a Xerox copy of the application form, in order to eradicate any trace of error while filling up the Periyar University PG Application Form.
The form must be complete in all aspects, incomplete applications forms will be summarily rejected without any entertainment. You will need to fill up separate application form in case, applying for more than one course.
You will also need to attach self-attested copies of Mark Sheets of the qualifying degree examination along with the application form. If you completed you qualifying degree or bachelor’s degree from a different university (Other than Periyar University), then they will need to submit their eligibility certificate, which can be obtained from Periyar University.

Application fee /Registration fee should be paid only by Demand Draft (DD) or by Challan and should be dated for any date after the issue of advertisement in favor of The Registrar, Periyar University, Salem-11.

SC/ST candidates are exempted from the payment of the Application/Registration fee for any one of the program. For every additional program applied, the application fee should be paid separately along with a separate application form.
Completely filled-in application forms must be sent to the respective Head of Department, Periyar University, Periyar Palkai Nagar, Salem – 636011.
Eligibility Criteria: -
Admission to Master’s degree programs are based on the marks obtained in both the qualifying examinations and the entrance examination. Entrance examination will be conducted by the respective Departments for each different course which would also intimate the result to the candidates. Communal Roaster system would also taken into consideration, as the university follows reservation criteria laid by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
