PPG College of Nursing was established as a part of the PPG Education and Charitable trust which was established in the year 1992 by Dr L.P. Thangavelu. The colleges offer courses in the field of Nursing.
The courses offered are diploma, Post basic, B.sc and M.sc in the field of Nursing. The college aims at providing education to all the sections of society.
The admission is based on the merit prepared based on the qualifying examination. There are many placement and clinical training practices available for candidates to learn in their respective field.

The admissions are done by submitting the eligibility criteria to the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council, Tamil Nadu. The admission is provisional and subject to be approved from Dr M.G.R University, Chennai.
The admission is based on the preparation of the merit list based on the qualifying examination.

The dedicated college placement cell helps in students for getting an internship and various job opportunities at various companies/institutes.
