NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5, 2024, for admission to MBBS at Travancore Medical College. NEET PG 2024 will be held on March 3, 2024, for admission to MD/ MS at Travancore Medical College.
Travancore Medical College is a self-financing educational institution, established in 2008 in Kollam Medicity, Kerala. The college also doubles as a premier hospital in the city of Kollam. It is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences.
Travancore Medical College currently offers an MBBS program at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, it offers MD & MS programs with specializations in Anesthesiology, General Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. For nursing candidates, the college offers a GNM program and a B.Sc. Nursing program for UG students.

Travancore Medical College offers an MBBS degree program to students seeking medical education at the UG level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the program is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together.
Selection of candidates for the government quota seats of the MBBS program is through KEAM counselling based on NEET – UG marks.
Prospective candidates may visit the Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) website and submit their applications online. A hard copy of the complete application form and photocopies of all relevant documents must also be sent to the CEE office so as to reach before the prescribed last date.
Attending KEAM counselling for admission to MBBS courses is mandatory for all government quota candidates. Management quota/ NRI candidates can apply through the institute level admission process.

Travancore Medical College offers postgraduate level medical degree courses in the fields of Anesthesiology, General Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. The institute offers Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees for Anesthesiology and General Medicine. Obstetrics & Gynecology candidates are awarded Master of Surgery (MS) degree upon course completion.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MD/ MS courses is an MCI approved MBBS degree from a recognized institute or university. Key Points for PG Admission:
Travancore Medical College offers nursing programs to undergraduate students with a science background. The institute currently offers a General Nursing Program (GNM) and a B.Sc. Nursing degree. Candidates with a minimum of 40% marks in 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible for the GNM program. For admission to the B.Sc. Nursing course, the candidates must have passed the 10+2 level exam with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together.
The candidate is also required to have studied English as a compulsory subject at SSC level. Selection of candidates for the GNM program is based on merit and interview. B.Sc. Nursing candidates are selected on the basis of counselling/ entrance test marks conducted by CEE, Kerala/ institute.
Only online mode of application is accepted for the B.Sc. Nursing program, the selection for which is through Kerala CEE counselling. Candidates for the GNM program must apply on the institute level for admissions. The application form for the GNM program can be obtained by visiting the institute campus in person and fee paid in cash.
