AMU Distance Education programs are imparted through the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Distance/online UG, PG, Diploma and certificate courses are offered at CDOE. Admission to the programs are based on Academic Merit of the candidate. Due to professional, economical, or societal restrictions, a sizable portion of society is unable to engage in the regular stream of education. These people can all have the chance to profit from distance learning. For educationally underdeveloped regions to benefit from university programs, Centre for Distance Education AMU distance education is affordable.

The minimum eligibility for UG courses is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent degree in any stream from a recognized university.
The eligibility criteria for M.A. and M.Com. is a graduate degree with 50% aggregate marks.
The selection under all the courses is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.

AMU Distance Education UG Admission 2023

CDOE, AMU offers three UG Distance Programs: BSc. Computer Science, and BCom {Hons}. CDOE also offers 2 UG Online programs: BA and BCom under its belt. For all CDOE UG programs, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or a degree equivalent to it. The admission to both the courses will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. The candidate have the option of completing his/her degree in minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 8 years.

Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University provides M.A., M.Com. and BLIS at PG level. For MA and M.Com., the candidate must have passed B.Com. or an equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. For B.Lib. IS, the candidate must have done graduation or post graduation with the required percentage of marks. The selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying marks.

AMU Distance Education Aligarh Application Process 2023

Candidates can obtain the application form of the Centre for Distance Education department of Aligarh Muslim University offline as well as online mode. The candidates have to follow these steps:

From the official website

The application form is available online as well as offline. The application fees for all courses are placed at INR 300.
For online admission, one has to fill out the form and submit scanned copies of documents online. In case of offline admission, one has to submit 2 copies of the documents and 7 passport-size photographs along with the Application form.
The selection is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the previous qualifying exam as it was filled by the applicant.

By post

The candidate can also obtain the application form by sending a DD of INR 300 in the favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at AMU, payable at Aligarh along with a self – attested A4 size envelope. Also fix a postal stamp of INR 60 to the correspondence address.

Through Cash counter of CDOE

Visit the cash counter of CDOE, AMU, make the payment of INR 300 and obtain the application.
