GCS (Gujarat Cancer Society) Medical College aims to be one of the premier medical colleges. Presently, it offers courses for 150 undergraduate medical students and 59 for postgraduate students. The college has 8 main Departments namely, Anatomy, Pathology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Community Medicine, and Forensic Medicine.
- The students are admitted through NEET every year for attaining the prestigious degree of MBBS which is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).

GCS Medical College MBBS Admission 2023
The college offers only one UG Course that is MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery). The course is a four and a half year period followed by a one-year internship.

Eligibility
- The candidate must be a citizen of India and have completed 17 years of age on the 31st of December of the academic year
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 (PCB stream) with a minimum of 50% for general category students, 40% for SC/ST category students, and 45 % for OBC category students.
- A candidate must have appeared in NEET UG Entrance Examination conducted for that year for which admission is being held and qualified as per criteria laid down by the competent authority.

- Firstly, the candidate aspiring for admission should register himself/herself at the official website for NEET UG.
- The application fees can be paid online through Credit/Debit card, Net banking or UPI payment gateway.
- The application fee is INR 1,500 for General (UR), INR 1,400 for General-EWS/OBC (NCL), and for ST /SC candidates the fee is INR 850.
GCS Medical College MD/MS Admission 2023
GCSMC offers two courses for postgraduate degree namely MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery). It has a number of specializations to choose from. The table below lists the 16 MD specializations and 3 specializations for MS.
The college has reserved 25% of the seats for the NRI and Management quota (NRI- 15% and Management quota-10%) and the remaining 75% seats are reserved for government quota through which includes state quota and open category seats.
