Belda College offers Arts, Science and Commerce and other vocational courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in a variety of disciplines. It also runs a BCA program at the UG level. The intake capacity for the programs differ from courses to course with a total approximate capacity of 1000 students per year.

Belda College offers undergraduate level degree courses in the disciplines of arts, science, commerce, computer applications and vocational subjects. The subjects offered under BA Hons. and BA General include Bengali, English, History, Geography, Philosophy, Political Science, Economics, Sanskrit, Sociology, Santali, Education and Music. The college offers two additional subjects under BA General, viz. Physical Education and Hindi. Candidates applying for science courses (Hons. & General) may choose from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Nutrition and Computer Science. A B.Sc. General program in Physiology is also offered under the Dept. of Science. The institute further offers a B.Com. (Gen. and Hons.) program in Accountancy, a BCA program, and two B.Voc. programs in Theatre & Stage Craft and Software Development.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is a pass in 10+2 in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. However, candidates who have score 50% in the subject applied for (but aggregate marks less than 45%) are also eligible. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam through counselling process.
Prospective applicants may fill the online application form which can be accessed by visiting the institute’s official website. The application fee can be paid through bank challan payment method only. No other mode of application or fee payment is currently allowed by the institute.

Belda College offers regular postgraduate programs in the disciplines of Arts and Science. The MA program is offered with specializations in Bengali and English. Subjects offered under the M.Sc. program include Mathematics and Physics. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is graduation in the relevant discipline with minimum 45% aggregate marks. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the institute.
Only offline applications are accepted by the Belda College for admission to PG courses. The application form can be downloaded from the institute website or collected in person from the institute office. The application fee can be paid in cash or via demand draft. It is mandatory for candidates applying under open category to appear for the institute level entrance exam.
