Yogoda Satsanga Palpara Mahavidyalaya (YSPM) is situated at Palpara in Purba Medinipur district in West Bengal. YSPM was established in 1964 and is affiliated with Vidyasagar University. It is awarded by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and also recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
Yogoda Satsanga Palpara Mahavidyalaya offers three years Under Graduate courses, viz Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in both General and Honors in various disciplines and two years of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

- For admission to Honors courses, Merit Point is to be calculated by adding 10% of the total marks obtained in the ‘Best five’ subjects excluding Environmental Studies. Merit Point for admission to General Course is to be calculated by adding the marks obtained in ‘Best five’ subjects excluding Environmental Studies.
- Candidate seeking admission to Honors in Accounting & Finance Course must have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics in 10th standard or must have passed in Mathematics in Higher Secondary /Equivalent Examination or have passed 10+2 having at least two commerce papers, one of which must be either Business Economics including Business Mathematics or Accountancy or any other equivalent subject.
- A candidate passing H.S. examination is normally eligible to apply for admission to B.A and B.Com 3 year General and 3 year Hons. Courses of studies.
- Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PH Candidates as per Govt. rules.
YSPM B.Ed Admission 2023
- Candidates having subjects either in Graduation or in Master’s degree other than the school subjects offered in the college may apply for B.Ed. course only if they have any one of the school’s subjects offered in the college in their graduation level having 300 marks and they will be treated as B.A./B.Sc. (General) category.
- Candidates having B.E/B,Tech should have 55% aggregate (for SC/ST/PH category 50% marks)
- 50% of the total seats will be reserved for Deputed teachers and 50% for fresher’s.
- SC/ST/PH Category candidates with 45% marks either in Bachelor’s Degree or in Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce are eligible.
- Academic Grade Marks:
10% of the total percentage of aggregate marks obtained in 10th
10% of the total percentage of aggregate marks obtained in H.S. or Equivalent Examinations (marks obtained in best five subjects including Bengali & English excluding Environmental Studies)
15% of the total percentage of aggregate marks obtained in Graduation
20% of the total percentage of aggregate marks obtained in Degree Honors Examinations

- Age of fresher Candidates must be less than 38 years.
- Deputed teachers teaching for Class IX and onwards in West Bengal Govt. aided institution must have at least one-year teaching experience.

- Submit the Fee of INR 100 through the Challan generated after online submission.
- Take the print out of the application

- In case of reserved category candidates one attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate
