Taki Government College, North 24 Parganas Admission 2023: Application process

Taki Government College offers three-year regular undergraduate courses in the field of Arts and Science in B.A and B.Sc. (Honours and General).

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks or 55% marks in overall subjects or 45% marks in the related subject are eligible to apply for Honours UG courses.

For B.A. and B.Sc. (General) courses, candidate with passing marks can apply for admission. Apply for UG Courses

Admission will be done on the basis of Merit in the qualifying examination.

For admission in Honours course, Marks obtained in top four subjects (each 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental Studies Plus marks in the subject a candidate applying for Honours in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate.

For General course, Marks obtained in top four subjects (each 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental studies in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate.

• For SC/ST candidates, minimum required aggregate marks and in Honours subject are 40%.

Honours Graduates from West Bengal State University or UGC recognised Universities in the relevant subjects are eligible to apply. 

For admission, a Merit list is prepared strictly in order of merit on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the Honours subject.

• Out of total seats, 60% are reserved for WBSU candidates and rest 40% are reserved for candidates belonging to Other Universities and WBSU candidates.
