Bajkul Mahavidyalaya offers a plethora of full time B.A and B.Sc courses. The duration of these courses is three years and affiliated to Vidyasagar University. The selection of candidates is solely based on merit of class 12 examinations. After candidates have applied in an online mode the college prepares a merit list for general and honours degree courses. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for counselling and admission on a given date. Admissions are confirmed only after the payment of requisite fee in offline mode.
- To be eligible for Honours courses candidates must have passed class 12 examinations or equivalent from any recognized State and Central Boards / Councils of India.
- Merit in Honours Course is calculated by considering 10% of total marks obtained in best five subjects including English and Bengali / Hindi (excluding Environmental Studies) and the marks obtained in the concerned subject in which the admission is sought.
- Merit in General Course is calculated by adding the marks obtained in best five subjects (excluding Environmental Studies).

At PG level the college offers three regular courses for duration of two years. Admission to 60% of total seats in each course will be done solely on the merit of the candidate in the final B.A (H)/B.Sc (H) examinations of Vidyasagar University. A merit list is prepared from among the candidates from VU.
Admissions to remaining 40% seats will be done under open competition after considering 50% of the merit in PG Entrance Examination conducted by the college and 50% of the merit in the final B.A (H)/B.Sc (H) examinations. Candidates from other universities can apply under this category.

The application for UG and PG courses has to be made separately in online mode only.

- Enter ‘Online Admission’ and select the course of your choice.
- Fill the details in block letters.
- Upload passport size scanned photo and signature.
- Verify before clicking the submit form.
- Take a printout of the receipt.
- Enter Payment Status and candidates have to re-enter their Application ID No. as User ID and Date of Birth as Password then submit.
- Print Duplicate Form and Bank Challan for future reference.
Note: Original Bank Challan will be used for paying the admission fee during counselling after the announcement of merit list on the official website.
