Sree Chaitanya College is a co-education college established in 1965 at North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It aims to cater to the requirements of students belonging to the economically weaker and underprivileged section of the society. The college is affiliated to West Bengal State University and has been approved by UGC. Presently it offers B.A. (Hons), BA (General), B.Com, B.Sc. at the Undergraduate level and M.Com at the Postgraduate level. Admissions to the college are granted on the basis of merit.

Sree Chaitanya College Admissions
Admissions to the UG & PG courses at the college are granted on the basis of merit. For SC/ST candidates, there is a 10% relaxation in aggregate marks and 5% relaxation in the relevant subject

Candidates apply to the college have to fill up an application form available on the college website.

- Hostel: The college has two separate hostels for boys and for girls which provides food facilities to its boarders
- Canteen: The canteen provides fresh and hygienic food at subsidized rates
- Health Centre: It has a health centre which has access to first-aid facilities. A physician visits the campus once a week
- Science Labs: The college has 4 fully equipped labs. 2 laboratories each for Food & Nutrition and Chemistry
- Computer Lab: The students also have access to a well-maintained computer lab
- Gym and Yoga Centre: The campus has a fully functioning gym with modern equipment. The college also has its own yoga centre
- Library: The college has a good collection of reference books, journals and magazines available to students for use. It also has access to several e-resources
