Shri Saraswati Gramvidyapith was established in the year 1968 and inaugurated by Kaka Saheb Kalelkar, the great thinker and enlightened disciple of Mahatma Gandhi. It is affiliated to Hemchandracharya north Gujarat University (NGU). It is spread in 300 acres with all facilities i.e. garden of different medicinal plants, library with well seating arrangement, two girl’s hostel with complete facilities, huge auditorium hall for seminars and cultural activities, full equipped laboratory, sports ground, computer laboratory etc. The faculty of college is highly qualified, dedicated and experience in the field of Rural Education.

The main aim of college is to provide provision of higher level rural education, training & teaching to the farmers, work oriented education to the students. The vision of college is to adopt new degree courses for the students of the area in accordance with the change in the requirement of the society. The college organizes many activities like training programmes, extension activity, home science training, environmental activities, awareness programme, social activity, National Service activity by N.S.S. cadets for the students to enhance their creativity and awareness.
